Scientists will develop AIDS vaccine that promises to combat epidemic

Scientists and Aids vaccine researchers state that they have seen that the new medical, microbicides technical solutions and vaccines would be very reliable to inhibit the AIDS epidemic.

According to Dr Chidi Nweneka, the executive director of the African Aids Vaccine Partnership, one of progress as shown is to reduce new infections and to combat HIV / AIDS in general. It also leads to possibility of an effective vaccine in the near future and the possibility for new HIV prevention technologies. As shown in past research about an effective microbicide that very feasible.

Dr Kihumuro Apuuli, the director general of the Uganda Aids Commission, said that the need for treatment keeps growing because infection rates are also rising each day, and a social vaccine could save the country against HIV/Aids.


According to data from Uganda Aids Commission ,WHO anti retroviral treatment are eligible for about 550,000 people living with HIV/Aids, but only about 240,000 are receiving this treatment.
